Because its like NASCAR, meant for poor white people in the south or midwest. Do you know what white people did to black people in the south and midwest? Would you listen to their music if you were them? I wouldn’t.

Well the only logical answer would be because Country Music originated in Southern North America so most likely white people are fans of it. Well everybody has a right to like whatever they want to like, it’s a free country (Well where I’m from).

probably for the same reason you don’t see many white people at a hip hop concert. people tend to listen to the music they grew up with. if you never heard mozart or beethoven, then you probably ain’t going to the symphony. if you listen to bob marley, chances are you don’t attend the opera all that much. country music leans toward being “white” just like soul music in the 60’s was “black” until people starting listening to the temptations, four tops, and the supremes. then they became ‘mainstream’. if more, different, people would listen to country music, it would become more widespread. remember garth brooks ? country, then pop. al green ? gospel, then soul, then pop. music crosses all boundaries, you just have to want to do a little traveling to reach those other places.

Everyone is different. Their tastes in music aren’t gauged by the color of skin they have. Also, there are people who are racist and they associate people with a certain music genre.
